Vahana — Delete your account

Vahana is published on Google Play by Vijayakumar M, proprietor of Vahana Agri Solutions. This page explains how to delete your Vahana account and what happens to your data when you do. If you no longer have the app, section 2 tells you how to ask us to do it.
Uninstalling the app does not delete your account.
1. Delete it yourself
Deletion takes effect immediately and cannot be undone. You do it in the Vahana app:
- Open the app and sign in with the Google account you use for Vahana.
- Open Settings, then Delete account.
- Read what will be removed, tick the box to confirm, and press Delete account.
If you are the only owner of a business, download your records first. The delete screen offers an export, and nothing can be recovered afterwards.
2. Or ask us to do it
If you no longer have the app or cannot sign in, write to vahanasupport@gmail.com from the email address on your account and say that you want your Vahana account deleted. We will respond within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm who you are before acting.
3. What is deleted, and what stays

If you are a driver or one of two owners, the details on your profile are also removed from the business's audit trail. A driver's entry in the driver list, and that entry's history, stay with the business, including the name and phone number the owner entered.
Deletion is not delayed, and nothing above is held back for a retention period. Records used to block abuse of the service, which hold an IP address but no name, are kept for at least 7 days until a routine clean-up removes them. A block lasts 24 hours.
4. If your details are in someone else's account
If you are a driver, a customer or a broker whose details were entered by a business, those records belong to that business, so send your request to them. If you cannot reach them, write to vahanasupport@gmail.com and we will pass it on and help them act on it. The Privacy Policy has the detail.
